Dancing Astronaut and Dim Mak present Steve Aoki and Rune RK’s ‘Bring You To Life (Transcend)’ remix competition
With the success of Steve Aoki’s most release of “Bring You To Life (Transcend)”, a collaboration with Ultra Records/Ministry of Sound producer Rune RK featuring vocalist RAS, Dim Mak and Dancing Astronaut present the track’s official remix contest! If you are an aspiring producer of any genre, here’s your chance to turn this track into your own beast of a production. Whether it’s disco, drowned-out trap, drum and bass, high-energy electro, or a genre you just invented (Living-in-my-parent’s-basement-step), don’t be afraid to step outside the box. Push yourself and the envelopes (pun intended).
The competition ends on Wednesday, November 27th so head over to the official contest page, download the stems and dive right in. The grand prize winner will be announced on Wednesday, December 11th 2013 and have their remix released on Dim Mak Records.

Please Note: Getting your remix into the Top 20 can help get you noticed, but the Dim Mak A&R team will ultimately choose the winner (whether it’s at the top of the charts or not).
GENERAL INFORMATION:
You, the entrant in the Dim Mak Records x Wavo contest (“Contest”), must agree to and comply with the following Official Contest Rules (“Rules”) as a condition and as consideration for participation. This is a legal agreement between you on the one hand, and Dim Mak Records, and Wavo and their affiliates (“Sponsors”) on the other hand.
You may submit only one (1) remix (defined below).
Violation of any of these Rules may disqualify you.
ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible to enter the Contest, you must meet all of the below requirements:
You must be an individual, at least 16 years of age on September 24, 2013.
Individuals who are employees or contractors of Dim Mak Records or Wavo and their affiliates are not eligible to participate.
SUBMISSION:
To enter, you must submit one remix that meets the technical requirements below. The remix must be an original take on the provided stems.
To submit, upload your remix to SoundCloud or YouTube. Then provide a link to that SoundCloud or YouTube page on https://wavo.me/apps/charts/walden-remix-comp (the “Site”) and provide all personal identifying information requested (“ID Info”).
Multiple submissions and resubmissions will not be allowed.
You must submit between 12:00 A.M. on November 06, 2013 and 11:59 P.M. on November 27, 2013 (the “Entry Period”). Late submissions will not be accepted and Sponsors shall not be liable for any technical or other issues with uploading to SoundCloud or YouTube or with submissions to the Site.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Your remix must be titled “Bring You to Life (Entrant Remix) – Steve Aoki & Rune RK”
Your remix must be at least 192 kpbs.
JUDGING:
Remixes submitted during the Entry Period will be available for streaming on wavo.me after they are submitted.
Public input, including “likes” and comments will be considered in the judging and final selection of the winner.
The selected entrant will be notified via email on November 30th 2013. He or she must be able and available to play his or her remix, via video chat, after selection. If Dim Mak Records is unable to confirm the selected entrant’s ability, or finds his or her skills to be lacking, Dim Mak Records reserves the right to select a different winner.
Selection of the winner is entirely at the discretion of Dim Mak Records, and by entering the Contest, you waive any right to dispute the decision of Dim Mak Records.
AWARD:
There will be one winner. The winner will be announced on December 11, 2013, on Dimmak.com and the social media pages of the parties involved.
The winner will have their remix released by Dim Mak Records.
WINNER’S RESPONSIBILITIES:
If selected as the winner, you agree that the above award is sufficient consideration, and that no additional fee will be paid. You further agree that you will execute any documents deemed necessary by Sponsors regarding the specific terms of your remix release.
SPONSORS’ RIGHTS:
Sponsors reserve the right to take down any remix if they receive infringement complaints, or for any other reason, at their sole discretion.
Sponsors reserve the right to terminate this Contest at any time without notice, or to modify these Rules including award, as necessary.
ENTRANT WARRANTIES:
By entering the Contest, you warrant that you alone have created the remix you are submitting. Further, you warrant that all ID Info is true, complete and correct. You warrant that the remix is original and does not contain any materials not owned by you, except for material from “Bring You to Life” stems. You acknowledge that any ID Info provided, or other materials submitted, will not be treated as confidential information, and you will not submit any information that you consider confidential or proprietary.
WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
By entering the Contest, you agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsors from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions and any liability of any kind caused by participation in the Contest or by acceptance of the award.
As a condition of entering the Contest, you hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages and you waive all right to all claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Contest.
In no event will Sponsor be liable to you or any third party for any special, punitive, incidental, indirect or consequential damages of any kind, on any theory of liability.
BY ENTERING, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE RULES AND THE DECISIONS TO Dim Mak Records, WHICH SHALL BE FINAL IN ALL RESPECTS.
