Martin Solveig & The Cataracs – Hey Now (Pierce Fulton Remix)
A producer like Pierce Fulton knows no boundaries. Between hosting his own radio show with “Get Weird” and lending his DJ stylings to Wolfgang Gartner and Tommy Trash’s Hounds of Hell tour, you might say the New England native has a nice grasp on all of his music ventures, no matter how busy. Contributing to Priority Records’ Dance (RED) Save Lives, Vol. 2, Pierce takes Martin Solveig and the Cataracs’ poppy and upbeat “Hey Now” and transforms it into a progressive, big room remix. Kyle’s optimistic vocals are preserved and paired with a quick plucking progression, looping into the clapping snares of the build up. Pierce strips out the original bouncy, strumming patterns, and plays out longer, full and lively chords for a more emotional feel. Available on November 25th, all proceeds of Dance (RED) Saves Lives, Vol. 2 will be donated to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS.
