Often underrepresented in today’s EDM-landscape, the French house sound that dominated the internet-waves in 2007 is still alive and well in the hands of Monsieur Adi.  The perfect complement to the heavily filtered French house style is indie pop and Monsieur Adi’s latest touched up efforts finds the producer flattening out and then bulking up Smallpools “Mason Jar.”  Taking the LA-based band’s sugary-sweet guitar riffs and howling vocals into an echo chamber of low end buzzing, the 27 year old DJ/producer reworks the radio ready original into a pulsating haze of bumpy bass lines, swirling white noise and orchestral electro string work.
