Tiësto and Axwell to perform at 2014 Aspen X Games
On January 25th and 26th, ESPN’s X Games will land in Aspen, Colorado for two days packed with intensive extreme sports competition. The event brings together the finest of international extreme sport talent to compete for the coveted X Games Gold Medal. In recent years, ESPN has shown further interest in embracing the events surrounding the actual competition, including the “X Games Music Presents” series. Founded just this year, the series has already featured performances by many familiar producers, including Major Lazer, Zedd, and Calvin Harris. For 2014, the sports network has called upon the indie pop talents of Matt & Kim and the alternative riffs of Pheonix to kick the musical event off on Saturday, while electronic favorites Tiësto and Axwell will bring the event to closure with Sunday performances at Wagner Park. Fans can purchase tickets for only $30 dollars, while VIP accommodations, such as food & beverage service and heated platform viewing, are available for $150.
