OWSLA gives back with Nestivus, kicks off with Destructo remix

December has hit and the holidays upon us. In the spirit of the season, OWSLA has teamed up with electronic music-based nonprofit organization Bridges For Music for the first annual Nestivus charity drive. For the entire month of December, subscribers to digital subscription Nest IV will receive exclusive daily releases from Dog Blood, Jack Beats and other outstanding OWSLA artists. All proceeds from Nestivus will go directly to helping Bridges for Music construct a music school in Langa Township in Capetown, South Africa, a city with a budding house music youth culture.

This advent calendar-style month of giving launches with a set of unreleased tunes from Destructo, beginning with Amine Edge & Dance’s remix of “Higher.” With a funky bass punch and an entrancing beat release, the rework embodies the high intensity of OWSLA’s signature sound and provides a delightful first preview for new music to come from Nestivus.
