Having dominated Beatport with his remix of Mako’s “Beam,” Dutch young gun Dannic ended 2013 in style and isn’t resting on his laurels as the new year begins. Set to return with an original mix for the first time since his collaboration with Sick Individuals, Revealed Recordings has officially previewed “Lion.” Heard all the way back at last year’s Ultra Music Festival courtesy of Hardwell, “Lion” utilizes a destructive breakdown before quickly exploding into a roaring bassline which is sure to make an impact across the dance music landscape. Given his long list of accomplishments last year, it’s no surprise that the young Dutch superstar will get 2014 off to a blazing start and is poised for even more peak-time festival fuel as we enter the new year.
