Releases were few and far between last year for the United Kingdom’s Gareth Emery, but the trance icon is back with his first preview of 2014. Alongside vocals from Bo Bruce, “U” is considerably lighter than most of the producer’s previous releases. The collaboration begins with vocals implanted over a light bassline, which eventually leads to a smooth culmination before the enchanting vocals regain control. Similar to “Concrete Angel,” the first release from Gareth Emery in 2014 has the potential to become one of the producer’s most popular tracks to date.
