Looking to get away from the typical four-to-the-floor boom boom boom? Magnus August Høiberg, better known as Cashmere Cat, consistently pumps out bedroom music for those looking for some seductive future bass. This time he’s masterminded Ludacris’s return to music with “Party Girls,” carefully folding his galactic flavors into the production. Jeremih’s chorus pays an unusual homage to Aqua’s “Barbie Girl,” and realistically, is the only slightly redeeming factor to any of the vocals. But, if getting Luda and Wiz to talk over the track gets more people listening to Cashmere Cat’s productions, then we can live with that.
