In the middle of January tour montages of Central America and Mexico are already a welcome sight, but when new material from Pierce Fulton makes up the soundtrack, the video becomes a must-watch. An at first thoughtful, then mind-blowing tune, “Old Man & The Sea” kicks off a recap of the young producer’s tour, accompanying him to Honduras, Mexico, Guatemala and Nicaragua. The tune carries Fulton’s signature dose of unexpected, with an incremental BPM ramp up carrying it straight into a melody-driven build that appears to have worked well on the Latin American crowds. Though no release date has yet been announced, “Old Man & The Sea” will be Fulton’s first original since this summer’s “Where We Were.”
