All evidence suggests that dance music communities across the globe have slowly but surely accepted the emergence of festival trap. One of the most exciting names in trap is Yellow Claw, whose latest remix is set to drop later this month for Spinnin’ Records offshoot SPRS. The Dutch trio puts their own spin on Quintino and MOTi’s dynamic electro track “Dynamite”, pinning the focus on the vocals of Taylr Renee. Yellow Claw preserves Taylr’s verse up until the drop, where they manipulate the first syllable of her chanting whoas into pitch-bending bleep fashion. As a creatively independent piece from the original, it’s no wonder the gang has emerged as an elite force within the genre.
