Tom Staar's 'Rocket' premiered ahead of January 27th release

Tom Staar is launching into the new year with his very own “Rocket.” Premiered this past weekend by Steve Angello for his Radio 1 Residency kick-off, the former artist to watch brings an evolved sophomore sound to his first release of 2014. Served as an appropriate conclusion to the beat-driven set in which it made its debut, “Rocket” comes as a fold where flooring percussion meets ethereal synths. Due out on Toolroom Records, Staar takes on the imprint’s attitude and lets his signature sound sit tight for his January 27th release.
