Cedric Gervais remixes Miley Cyrus’s ‘Adore You’
French producer Cedric Gervais remixed songbird Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness,” which became the anthem for 2013’s summer, even taking home a Grammy at the beginning of this year for Best (Non-Classical) Remixed Recording. Adding to his parade of pop star remixes, Gervais has most recently revealed his rework of “Adore You,” the melancholic ballad from Miley Cyrus’s Bangerz album. In typical Gervais fashion, the previously downtempo track has been instilled with heart-racing, vibrant life. Fully equipped with striking builds and rollercoaster lifts and falls, Cedric Gervais’ remix still manages to stay true with intervals of Cyrus’s belting chorus lines. According to an interview with Billboard, Gervais received a request specifically from the wild child pop star herself to remix her third single. “Miley Cyrus called me and asked me to work with her on ‘Adore You,'” Gervais explained. “It’s finished, she loves it.”
