Clean Bandit breaks Daft Punk UK Spotify record with latest single ‘Rather Be’
Having set the precedent in Spotify’s streaming records within courtesy of lone album hit “Get Lucky” last year, Daft Punk record setting attempts have this week been surpassed by British outfit Clean Bandit. With their latest single ‘Rather Be’ alongside Jess Lynne lapping more than 2.99 million streams since it’s release on January 19, their record of 1.09 million plays in just seven days sets a new record on Spotify within the UK market. With the track still doing the rounds and debut album New Eyes primed for release on may 12, 2014 remains for the taking from the stream-proof outfit and their affirmative crossover streak.
