SBTRKT – Hold The Line (Original Mix)
While Aaron Jerome, known for his musical project SBTRKT, has strayed from the spotlight as of late, he has once again emerged with a BBC Radio 6 world exclusive, “Hold The Line.” In showcasing precise arrangement and composition at their finest, SBTRKT’s latest work employs shimmering progressions and melodic chord work that result in a beautifully composed piece. Jerome’s penchant for eclectic instrumentals is evident in this blissful little number, which is one of 12 tracks that will lead up to his forthcoming album. While release titles and release dates are still to be announced, the Brit has let a few details loose:
“These tracks will form a collection of vinyl 12″ before my next album and its singles. Maybe a digital release too. They will be out in a couple of months. All instrumental stuff along the lines of the music that I put out on Ramp or the early Young Turks releases, transitioning between my last album and the next one.”
