Armin van Buuren & Andrew Rayel – Eiforya (Original Mix)
With a name that sounds like “euphoria,” two of trance’s leading men can’t go wrong. For their first official collaboration, Armin van Buuren and Andrew Rayel have joined forces on the aptly-titled “Eiforya,” constructing the track around an an ever-quickening heart-like beat. At first blush a seemingly simple composition, the pair dive both deeper and spread wider, ushering in a more classic melody to the otherwise modern affair. Synths give way to strings as soaring vocals interrupt the forward march, but the reverent interlude is gone just as quickly as it came. Though “Eiforya” is the first time the two have met in the studio, it is far from the first thing the mutual remixers have shared: For the fourth year running, both will appear on the official A State Of Trance compilation album, due out on March 28th.
