Adding to Jonas Rathsman‘s garage inspired take, the UK’s Bondax adds a little nu disco flavor to Duke Dumont‘s “I Got U,” creating an upbeat, feel good vibe. Ripe with island-style percussion, bouncy basslines and the distant crash of ocean waves, the young Sony Music-signed producers insert their own style to the deep set original, making it distinct and memorable. This serves as the first remix we’ve heard from the budding duo in a few months, leading us to believe they have been honing their sound, an effort which has clearly served them well.
