For those who have been tempted to purchase a premium streaming subscription yet still haven’t committed, Spotify has suddenly made that decision easier. Slashing the monthly price from $10 to $5, Spotify has offered all American college students a year of discounted service, which can then be renewed each subsequent year students provide proof of enrollment. In order to be eligible for the student discount, you must be currently enrolled in a two-year, four-year or junior college in the United States. A premium subscription treats listeners with uninterrupted streaming, offline playlist access and better audio quality.
