As Andrew Bayer continues to reveal the highly anticipated collection of new projects debuted in his ABGT 050 set last October, we’ve received another glimpse into his work courtesy of ABGT’s ‘Record of the Week’. Beginning his upcoming Anjunabeats release “Bullet Catch” with a pattern of smooth tones, the DC-native drops a distortedly dark and heavy synth progression for an electrifying impact. A truly gifted musician, Bayer has the keen ability of combining very different elements into beautiful yet riveting pieces, making the elegant and soothing melodic breakdown the perfect contrast for his driving leads. Though not officially released until June, it’s comforting to finally put a label on this long awaited record.
