DA’s Sunday Morning Medicine: Volume 60 [Coachella Edition]

With Coachella less than a week away, we turn our early morning rhapsody towards some of the more interesting electronic artists performing at the Indio festival grounds. With tracks from Flume, Bonobo, The Glitch Mob, Hot Since 82, and T.E.E.D., this week’s edition of Sunday Morning Medicine is a perfect warm up for next weekend’s festivities.

With his enigmatic, genre-defying sound design, Fume’s Coachella debut is bound to turn some heads. “Ezra” is one of his many wonderfully odd creations.

From his DJ sets to full band showcases, a performance from Bonobo always promises to be interesting. “Pieces” from The North Borders is a particularly soothing production.

With a new album at their back, The Glitch Mob are primed to light up the first day of Coachella. “Dream Within a Dream” embodies their blissful fusion of rock and electronica.

Hot Since 82’s “The End” was easily one of the top techno tracks of 2013. The engaging tribal atmosphere is sure to hypnotize hundreds come Yuma Tent time.

This one’s a double feature: Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaur (performing at the Do Lab) provides a dangerous deep house remix of Disclosure (one of Sunday’s headliners) and their track off Settle, “F For You.”
