EDX – Cool You Off (Original Mix)
Recently, EDX has been dabbling in the deep house sound pool and, for a producer that typically stays within house’s borders, his latest “Cool You Off” shows Maurizio returning to his roots. An easy listen, the track is an outside-the-box effort that flirts with both groove-driven vibes and EDX’s signature progressive style. Similar in nature to “Reckless Ardor,” airy melodies collide with tantalizing vocal samples and tropical drum beats create the dreamy framework native to EDX’s sound. Far estranged from previous works such as his Fe5tival Remix of Christina Perri’s “Human,” Maurizio’s second deep progressive original has already formed a positive trajectory for future releases on Enormous Tunes. Be warned: “Cool You Off’s” soothing nature serves as the perfect background music to the point of a dangerous amount of plays on repeat.
