Martin Garrix makes first appearance on Social 50 chart

Martin Garrix has debuted at No.39 on the Social 50 chart after his first performance at Ultra Music Festival. The Social 50 ranks the most popular artists on social platforms such as YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud, Wikipedia, Myspace, and Instagram. The chart has created an algorithm that measures fans, followers, pageviews, song plays, reactions through a technology created by music analytics company Next Big Sound. Garrix’s manager, Scooter Braun, also has his hand in making artists appear on the Social 50 by using his own extensive social network. His success is exemplified by client Justin Bieber, who has spent his 76th consecutive week at No.1.
