Now, the fast ascending talent drops “Freaks,” the follow-up to Helena collaboration “Whattup!” that sees the label hopping talent rejoin Big & Dirty for his fourth original release on the label. Building subtly and apexing with a focus on those edgy electro leads, “Freaks” marks one of the most intensely woven cuts to emerge from the hot footed breakout to date. On the approach to the European festival season and a stretch with no shortage of big room cuts on the horizon, Nilson emerges with a track that is sure to hold the corner of the genre’s more interesting peak time favorites here in 2014.
