Toronto’s Charlie Darker has been nothing short of a production whiz beneath the wing of Wolfgang Gartner, handling each of his previous electro house efforts with their own unique care. His talent in the studio is one of a kind, now becoming two of a kind, per se, with a new alias. Going under the name Teamsports, Darker finds his stroke for groovier, light-hearted sounds. Dishing out the first taste of Teamsports with a free two-track EP, the new project is starting on track of indie house. Both “Place Unknown” and “It’s Okay” make for easy-listening, spirited tunes deserving of heavy rotation.
