Deadmau5 and his Purrari take on the international supercar race, Gumball 3000

In typical shameless Deadmau5 behavior, the audacious personality took the opportunity to showcase his love of satire by revealing a truly one-of-a-kind paint wrap for his Ferrari several months ago. Since, the luxury vehicle gone living Internet meme has been lovingly deemed the ‘Purrari’ and has recently begun to host notable Coffee Runs with fellow producers including the most recent guest, Kaskade, who was inaugurated into Deadmau5’s running video series.

In between dropping hints about his forthcoming full-length album and adding a dose of daily snark to your Twitter feed, Deadmau5 plans to put the Purrari into action. The customized Ferrari Spider 458 will rack up an impressive 3,000 miles for an extensive international journey as Joel joins the Gumball 3000 motor rally. Gumball 3000 will take participants through five countries in seven days and is slated to launch in Miami, Florida on June 4th. Following a celebratory DJ set from Deadmau5 himself on the race’s opening day, Joel, alongside 120 other supercars and their corresponding superstar drivers will fly down the Daytona Speedway and continue on to Atlanta and New York before leaping across to land in London. The finish line for the Gumball 3000 lies in Ibiza, where a final party will conclude the epic race rally.
