Deadmau5 reveals album title and release date, ‘While (1<2)' coming June 17

Just moments after being named one of our most anticipated (and unnamed) albums of 2014, Deadmau5 took to his website to reveal several paramount details regarding his forthcoming full-length album. His seventh studio album title comes to us as a cheeky play on programming language, directly translated as code to command to loop indefinitely, While (1<2). From his two year album release silence comes his most mammoth album yet – both in size and expectations. While (1<2) will arrive as a two-disc LP with 25 tracks and Deadmau5 explained that though the album release comes later than desired, he thinks “it’ll be worth the wait,” further explaining that it’s the first album he would even call an album rather than his previous ‘compilations.’

While (1<2) will receive an official release this summer on June 17th and be available for pre-order on May 20th. Fans who pre-order will receive the first single, “Avaritia,” which was originally released as a part of his ‘Seven Deadly Sins‘ Soundcloud EP pack. Deadmau5 has also revealed the upcoming album artwork, pictured below.
