EDC UK announces extensions to 2014 line-up, Hardwell added to headliners
Having recently unveiled a roadblock line-up for the festivals cinematically documented Las Vegas strand, EDC UK has spiced up the road to its impending return this summer with fresh addition to the two-day event. Returning July 12 through 13 this year to the new home of Milton Keynes Bowl, Hardwell and a host of accomplished talents join an already boisterous line-up for Pasquale Rotella’s largest expansion onto European soil to date.
Last year the Dutch heavyweight performed on the main stage at EDC’s inaugural London stint back in 2013 and entered 2014 as the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll’s overall winner, and this year he returns suitably higher up the bill for this two-day showdown of international talents. While Danny Howard, Deorro, Bassjackers and Firebeatz represent the cream of the big room crop, the addition of commercial favorites Pendulum, Route 94 and Sigma is countered by affirmative underground house representation courtesy of Kerri Chandler, Nick Curly, Miguel Campbell and Andrea Oliva.
The newcomers join an already jam packed line-up sourced from across the industry spectrum, with such heavyweight names as Avicii, Steve Angello, Calvin Harris, Marco Carola and Loco Dice aligned to put the home of Swedish House Mafia’s final UK stint back on the industry map this summer.
