Governors Island season returns to NYC with Avicii, Laidback Luke, and more

It’s that time of year again. Not just festival season, but taking all live event action outdoors. Extending dance territory to Governors Island each summer, the annual run of events returns to New York City for 2014. Kicking off with Paul van Dyk this Memorial Day Weekend, two of the venue’s premiere events have already been announced. This first comes from Laidback Luke, no stranger to Governors Island, with his Super You & Me concept returning yet again on June 15th. The next from Avicii, who returns for his first time since his 2011 affair, now headlining his Ralph Lauren-backed July 4th show.
