A perfect harmony arises when Lana Del Rey‘s impossibly sultry vocals and Solomun‘s thrumming, deep house-rooted beats collide. The German’s talents shine prominently – this time, in the form of a thick layer of dark vibrato underlying Lana’s blasé lyrics of her latest single, “West Coast.” The first reveal from Lana’s anticipated album has already received waves of attention after she premiered it live at Coachella, and has since received other remixes, including one from Four Tet. Solomun dives deep for his rendition of the Ultraviolence track, generously playing with sonorous fluxing bass and introducing jazzy additions for an undeniable new flavor to the starlet’s ethereal vocals. Simply labeled as “coming soon,” expect an official release of Solomun’s “West Coast” remix shortly.
