Deadmau5 and Richie Hawtin potentially collaborating again

When the Canadian minimal tech legend Richie Hawtin hosted a Reddit AMA, he answered fans’ questions and concerns about venues he loves and loathes, places they’d like to see him tour, what his future plans are and a slew of other odds and ends. He gauged fan interest in a potential 2015 tour with Joan Acquaviva, as a celebratory 25th anniversary of his Plus 8 label is fast approaching. But most interestingly, Hawtin suggested that he and deadmau5 are planning on releasing a joint effort sometime in the near future. He kept it quite vague, but this wouldn’t be the first time he and the mau5 worked together. The duo played a back-to-back set at last year’s SXSW, and he’s released a Deadmau5 track on his label under the alias, testpilot.
