Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Diplo & Fatboy Slim release video for World Cup Anthem
With the official kickoff of the World Cup yesterday, all eyes are on the battle for futbol glory waging in Brazil. While the county’s own team earned the distinction of first win, the dance world also tallied up a victory with the release of the music video for its own World Cup Anthem. “Eparrei” saw the combination of talents with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Diplo, Fatboy Slim, Bonde do Role and Pin all bringing something to the colorful table, and its music video follows suit. Juxtaposing images of Brazilian Carnival with everyday life, mud-slicked celebrations and shots of Fatboy Slim himself, the video celebrates the country more than the sport that has taken over it, adding a refreshing storyline to the stadium-focused frenzy.
