Dirty Vegas – Setting Sun (Daddy’s Groove & Heymen Remix)
Daddy’s Groove had a relatively quiet beginning to 2014, but the Italian trio has begun to build up steam as the summer festival season gets underway. Back on d:vision for the first time since their remix of “O Superman” alongside frequent-collaborations Cryogenix, the triumvirate teams up with Heyman to take on Dirty Vegas’ “Setting Sun.” Skillfully leaving some of the original’s attributes in place, the group impart their big room hallmarks with a drum-laden buildup which guides the remix into a synth saturated plateau. The reinvention marks another solid entry in the trio’s always-expanding discography and is further evidence that Daddy’s Groove has mastered the art of the collaboration.
