Knife Party reveal new album name ‘Abandon Ship,’ 9 out of 12 tracks completed
Just over a month ago Rob Swire announced that May would be “album-finishing month” and now, nearly 30 days later, Knife Party reveals not only their forthcoming album’s name, but the number of tracks to be included on the hotly-anticipated full length. Dubbed Abandon Ship, the duo’s return to the spotlight comes in the form of 12 tracks, with 9 already confirmed for the album and 5 in the maybe pile while 5 are still just ideas.
With just “2-weeks til mastering” and little else known about the contents therein, it may be possible that the pair have taken their album title to heart and abandoned ship on the tired sounds of EDM.
“Coming to a whatever near you, whenever we finish it.”
