Drugs, fights and heat are cited as the cause of a mass casualty incident at Boston’s TD Garden this evening during an all-ages Avicii show. At least 38 attendees have been hospitalized, with reports indicating that the number could be higher. There have been no reported fatalities, but Universal Hub has reported that several intoxicated attendees jumped into the Charles River, requiring Coast Guard rescue. A “dangerous substance” was eyed as a cause in the chaos by an EMS worker, but details of what exactly went wrong are still developing.
