While Pharrell’s G I R L release in March was most loudly heard with the inescapable “Happy,” the album’s Daft Punk collaboration “Gust of Wind” flew largely under the radar. That is, until our own Radar guests decided to give it a remix. In the hands of Chicago-based Autograf, the robot-tinged R&B track seems to dive into a sublime summer pool, where basslines lap against the easy beat and Pharrell’s vocals float from afar before coming up for air. Best enjoyed on lazy days with a low-end vibe, the track can be yours wherever the long days take you; the first “Future Summer” release of the season, “Gust of Wind” is available for free download.
