On the 6th edition of our Radar podcast, French talent Invoker prepares an hour-long lesson on deep Parisian sonic sensuality. After making a splash with his remix of Beyonce’s “Partition,” the up-and-comer took his turn at A Tribe Called Quest’s “Once Again,” installing yet another bubbling sub bass and impossible sexuality into the hip hop classic. For his debut on Dancing Astronaut and The Radar airwaves, Invoker finds himself dabbling in a variety of complimentary genres with touches of soulful funk and future bass matched by tasteful R&B. From Anna Lunoe’s “Breathe” to Todd Terje’s “Strandbar,” and his own never before heard original “A Feeling,” Invoker keeps the mix impossibly cool — like any self-respecting Frenchman would.
