Watch This: Glitch Mob lives on their “own little planet”

The self-proclaimed “Oddballs of EDM” just tore up Randall’s Island for a stellar performance on Day 2 of Governor’s Ball music festival. And in addition to some stage time, Glitch Mob had time to share with Billboard just why they like to say they live on their “own little planet.” As even their nicknames may allude to, edIT, Boreta and Ooah pride themselves on being eccentric. The electronic DJs say they don’t “really fit into any one scene, whether it be the EDM scene or the Beat scene.”

Regardless of what genre(s) the group represents these days, their fans certainly do go crazy for their music. The California trio told Billboard that they do their best to connect on a more personal level with “The Mob,” as they affectionately call their fanbase. Meeting up with fans at shows and sending back personal replies are just a few of the ways Glitch Mob reciprocates the love. Check out Billboard’s coverage of the interview here and as an added bonus, watch their 60 second snippet of last weekend’s performance.
