Alesso returns with ‘Tear The Roof Up,’ signs with Def Jam Recordings

Finally returning with the long awaited and endlessly teased “Tear The Roof Up,” Alesso brings electro-driven progressive house back to the spotlight with a track that sports a familiar sound but innovates in its execution. A single phrase is danced around by strong and aggressive synths that pack enough punch to carry the production through its nearly seven minute span. “Tear The Roof Up,” though, only marks the beginning of Alesso’s return; along with the full length and high quality new track, the Swedish producer also announced that he would be starting a label imprint and follow with an onslaught of fresh material on top of signing an exclusive recording contract with Def Jam Recordings.
