Coachella has broken its own boxscore record for the third year in a row, dating back to when the festival expanded to two weekends. The festival is produced by Goldenvoice, a division within AEG Live, and set another all time record for gross ticket sales. Coachella took place on April 11-13th and April 18-20th with headliners such as Outkast, Arcade Fire, Chromeo, Skrillex, and many more.
The combined sold-out attendance for both weekends capped out at 96,500 per day for a total of 579,000 tickets and a gross of $78,332,000, up from $67.2 million in 2013.
