DA Premiere: Feed Me’s haunting new original ‘Without Gravity’

Feed Me has returned, and frankly, we couldn’t be happier. After sharing his track “Time For Myself” back in May, Jon Gooch announced his upcoming tour, Feed Me’s Psychedelic Journey, complete with over 25 North American dates and a revamped Teeth setup. The forthcoming cross-country excursion is accompanied by Gooch’s new EP of the same name which has been officially released today.

The final track off the EP is “Without Gravity,” a stunning composition that sees Gooch at his best, combining haunting chord progressions with some mind-blowing sound design. Introducing itself with a brilliant overture, the song quickly picks up the energy with some menacing mid-range bass. For the next five minutes, we become lost in Gooch’s masterful grasp of sound synthesis, as he creates a journey both pensive and emotional, yet daring and exciting. Ultimately, “Without Gravity” demonstrates why Feed Me is one of the most respected producers of our time.
