Good Morning Mix: The Half Moon – A Mix By The Knocks
Now in its fourth consecutive year, Full Moon Festival is slated to return to New York’s waterfront at Governors Island. On August 8th, guests will congregate to experience a miniature festival exploding with enlightening sounds and cultures beneath a full moon – a theme that takes after the night-long beach parties held in Thailand the night of, before or after each full moon. The eight-hour event, hosted by Matte Projects, will feature The Aston Shuffle, The Knocks, Le Youth and Wave Racer, among others. In anticipation of the annual gathering, The Knocks contrived a mix to give ticket holders a glimpse of what to expect come time for Full Moon. Containing just over thirty minutes of prime cuts, B-Roc and JPatt transport listeners through a musical vacuum comprised of artists like The Penelopes, Le Galaxie and The Ting Tings.
