Target sponsors #UberLIVE, brings on-demand performances to Chicago for Lollapalooza pre-shows

With crowds flocking to the city of Chicago to prepare for the ultimate genre-bending festival Lollapalooza, Uber takes on yet another initiative in partnership with Target – delivering concerts rather than taxi rides. On July 31st, between the hours of 2pm and 8pm, customers can use the Uber app to request a visit from #UberLIVE, and more specifically, The Kooks and RAC. While demand is sure to be high and only so many requests can be fulfilled, the new venture marks yet another milestone for the ambitious startup that has grown from a car hailing service to an on-demand haven for those in the most bustling cities in America. Also amongst the list of potential doorstep performers are Phantogram, Wildcat! Wildcat!, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Into It. Over It. #UberLIVE has a history of appearing during special events and the busier times of the year, but the events are unannounced. Will #UberLIVE make its way to your city? Stay tuned to the app to find out.
