Blasterjaxx – Gravity (Original Mix)
Ultra may have been ages ago, but its premieres are still trickling through the release circuit. The latest to hit Beatport is Blasterjaxx‘s “Gravity,” out this week on Spinnin Records. Played out by the pair for the first time at Miami’s Main Stage, the electro house tune takes a subtle start before lifting off with a main stage melody all it’s own. Its catchy strings dominate before being chased by a pounding percussion build that is shattered by the punctuated synth drop, effectively creating the crowd-pleasing big room sound the label is known for. Making an initial splash on countryman Hardwell’s radio show before being swept up by nearly every other big name, if this is the first time you’re hearing “Gravity” it certainly won’t be the last.
