DA Premiere: Bear Grillz & Datsik – Drop That Low (Original Mix)
With just a few days separate us from the release of Bear Grillz‘s forthcoming EP, Bear Grillz & Friends Volume 1. The playful dubstep producer has slowly let fans worldwide get a taste of his EP through a series of blog debuts. The final track yet-to-be-revealed off the EP is finally here, with label leader Datsik on the assist for “Drop That Low,” a production that rings true to the Firepower Records filthy sound. Menacing saw synths take a front seat as the track intertwines various genres through its dubbed-out attributes. Chopping a vocal sample of the same name, Datsik and Bear Grillz leave the glitz and glamor of a conventional electronic sound behind as they continue to carve their own path in the bass music lane.
Completing the high-profile EP with features from Firepower mainstays and partners Protohype, The Frim, and 12th Planet, “Drop That Low” supplies a healthy dose of grit to the bass heads of the world.
