Joining the trail of budding imprint Zerothree for the third quarter, the London-based producer follows-up on Ones To Watch single “Spark It Up” with a debut sure to leave those more skeptical to the genre’s movements significantly relieved.
“Everything” is an inoffensive blend of rich melodic composure and uplifting ascension, one that moves towards of a heavy footed reimagining of the sound that shows just how comfortable Silcox has grown in crafting it. Asides from spotlighting a worthy pairing of label and artist, the track shows a prospective future in which the sound of progressive house can once again stand loud and proud within the crowded digital market, all without relying on that overstretched 1% of genre heavyweights for validation.
