Mixcloud enhances services with subscription accounts and reposting

Since 2008, London-based music service Mixcloud has offered an alternative to the ever-dominant Soundcloud. Aimed at radio hosts and listeners of longer programs, the service has enhanced its feature list with the addition of new subscription services and the ability to repost a sound.

The two new subscription accounts offer various incentives, which are aimed at both the end user and the uploader of the content. A ‘pro’ account that costs $15.00 per month targets the radio host or DJ, as the highest costing service will gives the user analytics, listener trafficking, and content scheduling among a list of other options. The ‘premium’ feature tailors to the hardcore listener, with the $6.99 price tag blocking ads for the end user and streamlining the experience.
