MTV to premiere ‘No Cameras Allowed’ music festival documentary

The Internet exploded with an assortment of reactions after a bootleg trailer for the documentary No Cameras Allowed surfaced late last month. For those who missed the memo, No Cameras Allowed is a tell-all tale filmed by director and rule-breaker, James Marcus Haney. Haney, interested in getting exclusive and intimate film of high-profile artists, devised a plan to sneak into several major musical festivals with fake wristbands. Haney’s adventures began in 2010 when he snuck into Southern California’s Coachella, and continued as he crashed festivals far and wide, gaining access to Bonnaroo, Ultra Music Festival, and Glastonbury in the UK.

With stellar footage then acquired, Haney’s talent was noticed by Mumford & Sons and other headlining acts, and he was soon hired as a legitimate touring photographer and videographer. No Cameras Allowed is a compilation of Haney’s adventures and his raw, never-before-seen footage. MTV will premiere No Cameras Allowed on August 29th, at 10 PM PT/ET.
