Exactly one year ago, Zeds Dead got together with fellow Canadian Memorecks on a gospel-sampling tune by the name of “Jericho.” After another successful collab last month, the two bass acts are together again with another unconventional cut. “Love Me” is a low-end answer to chillstep, where heavily distorted bass drifts over a drumset/piano duet and fleeting future synths glide above a vocal not out of place on a ’40s Philco. Down tempo and demure, the track made its debut in DC and Hooks’ Essential Mix last March and is finally being given its turn in the hazy sunlight as a free download.
