Apollonia, the French trio comprised of Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky, may have only officially come into existence in 2012, but their longtime friendship and shared passion for music traces back to the late 90s, when the three met at Parisian after hours club, Le Batofar. Though their debut studio album, Tour à Tour, only required six months of studio lockdown in Berlin earlier this year, Apollonia’s first major project will serve as a reflection of over a decade’s worth of inspiration. Slated for an October 20th release date, Tour à Tour will showcase the group’s roots in house music including “June,” “Mouche Tsé Tsé,” and “The Benshee.” Watch the music video for “The Benshee” above, as the trio takes viewers on a brief journey through their lives as puppets.
