Baauer and Boys Noize release ‘Fire Like This’ ahead of RunX Tour
With one of the most highly anticipated joint tours of the year nearly underway, Baauer and Boys Noize have linked up together to bring fans more than just an explosive show. Just prior to the commencement of the blockbuster coast-to-coast RunX Tour, the headlining pair offer up a pre-tour party favor “Fire Like This,” as a free download.
The tune is nothing short of impressive as Baauer continues to show growth and poise, while Boys Noize’s unmistakable industrial-house influence brilliantly shines through the track’s knocking beat. Chopping up vocal samples of Anquette’s “Janet Reno” schoolyard stomp within the frame of their boldly sophisticated drum beat, the new tour mates showcase just a small taste of what we can expect from their co-headlining venture together.
As Baauer follows up “Clang” with another ambitious release, and Boys Noize continues to expand his collaborative reach even further, “Fire Like This” brings the best of both worlds.
