Deadmau5 fires back, sends Disney a cease and desist of his own

The battle between the mouse-y ones continues.

After months of whispered rumors, Disney officially filed suit to block Deadmau5’s trademark in the US, a move that prompted Joel to tell the massive conglomerate to lawyer up.

The plot continues to thicken today as Deadmau5 has just sent Disney a cease and desist of his own. It appears that Disney scored a Mickey Mouse montage with “Ghosts n’ Stuff” without ever licensing the track from Deadmau5.
